The World Minifootball Federation (hereinafter â€śthe WMFâ€ť), is the highest authority of minifootball in the world. Has the purpose to promote, supervise and direct minifootball in the world, as a means to contribute to the positive development of society. The WMF, on an international scale, is without doubt the most significant and well â€“ known sport federation in grassroots sports. Its members are national minifootball associations and contienntal minifootball federations from each continent.
The Federation connects tens of millions of players from all parts of world, through their participation in the regional leagues and national minifootball championships which are organized by local / national associations. The WMF has a special dynamic because of the huge number of players who play every day, every week and every month because they are just in love with this sport.

2. Main product of the WMF
The main product of the WMF is a minifootball. Minifootball is the type of football, the most widespread, which tens of millions of amateur players in the world play and the only element that differs among cities and countries is the total number of players and the size of the field. So, the WMF created 3 different categories of minifootball: 5 a side, 6 a side (majority) and 7 a side.

Minifootball as a oficial international sport
Minifootball leagues and other competitions and events are organizing by the WMF or by its continental, national or local affiliates. The best teams from local leagues will advance to national championship. The best players are choosen for national team which participate in continental or World minifootball Championship.
3. Minifootball facilities and fields
This is one of the advantages of minifootball. Create minifootball field isnâ€™t too difficult. In a lot of villages or African countries we founded a space on meadow and create a field where team(s) from the village playing minifootball. Secondly thanks to minifootball mobile facility we can organize minifootball Chamionships in very specific places as are sea beaches or main squares of different cities in the world.
There are currently more than 35 000 official WMF facilities and more than 1,7 mil. unofficial minifootball fields hosting the regional competitions and national tournaments which are organizing by WMF members â€“ national minifootball associations. It is a fact that minifootball fields are -in absolute numbers- by far the most numerous in comparison to any other sport across the globe.
The facilities which are chosen by the national associations are state of the art from all aspects (technological stand point- tartan used etc, security, stands for spectators, other facilities e.g. changing rooms, showers etc), easily accessible by everyone (multiple means of transport).
